Earlier this year, I was asked to create new vocal arrangements - inspired by the arrangements I’ve made for Tone of Voice Orchestra - for a selection of the classic hitsongs of Anne Dorte Michelsen and Maria Bramsen of Tøsedrengene.
It felt like reaching into a treasure chest filled with great melodies and outstanding lyrics. A truly enjoyable project, with the added challenge of pushing the original songs in new and unexpected directions.
These weeks the vocal section (or rather three of us) of Tone of Voice Orchestra, are back together as we are having a great time singing a handful of sold out shows with these two female powerhouses and their band.
